The service

TypeStudy is a typing-based study tool. We make a best effort to keep your data, sessions, and SRS schedule reliable. We don't guarantee uptime or warrant the service for any particular use.

Your content

You own the study material you import. Granting us a license to store it under your account is the only thing required for the service to function. Don't import material you don't have the right to use, including copyrighted textbook content where the publisher hasn't licensed it.

AI generation

The "Generate with Claude" button calls Anthropic's API on your behalf. We rate-limit this to protect against runaway use; rate limits and entitlements may change. Manual paste-into-Claude is always available as a fallback.

Account termination

We can suspend accounts that abuse rate limits, attempt to break the service, or violate the spirit of the project. You can also delete your account at any time (see privacy).

Changes

Material updates to these terms get a heads-up note on the home page for at least seven days before they take effect.
